Pasos al Futuro Academy is a FREE program for Latine/x youth
(Sophomores/Juniors/Seniors), ages 15-18, offered during July in partnership with Lane Community College. The summer academy includes leadership activities, workshops on financial literacy, scholarship writing, resume writing, field trips to college campuses, and recreational outings. The Academy experience provides a strong foundation for bicultural identity, student success, and personal empowerment.

OSU EXTENSION FREE SUMMER CAMP!
OSU Extension Summer Camp is FREE! Preference is given to children from limited-income households.
Hands-on summer fun! Campers get to explore 4-H, cooking, gardening, food preservation and forestry programs through field trips and activities. Lunch and snack provided.
Two sessions in August! Spots are limited so register soon.

BABY POP MUSIC AT DAISY C.H.A.I.N.
Daisy CHAIN music classes at Daisy's Place!
Baby Pop Music classes are designed for infants to 5 year olds, but all ages are welcome to attend. Classes are about 45 minutes long.

Thanks to a grant from the Lane County System of Care, the respite program is free to parents. Parents DO NOT have to be associated with The Arc Lane County to take advantage of this program. Children must be 5 to 13 years of age, and must experience a developmental disability, mental health or behavioral health challenge. Siblings are welcome to attend as well.

This is a perfect opportunity to carry your baby while enjoying the beauty of nature and connecting with other amazing parents. 🌞 Rivers are the lifelines of our ecosystem, and together, we'll explore the fascinating network of living things they support. We'll dive into learning about river inhabitants and get up close with the critters in the water. 🐟🦗

Here's the plan:

  *   Meet at the Education Building to pick up your parking pass.
  *   From there, we'll walk the trails, immerse ourselves in the sights and sounds of nature, and enjoy the company of fellow parents and their little ones. 🚶‍♀️🌲🚶‍♂️

Incredible INFANTS is designed for families with babies 0-4 months old. The group meets every other week for 10 weeks.
Your group will help you:

  *   Form connections with other families with new babies.
  *   Learn to respond to your unique baby.
  *   Explore the importance of self-care and how your adult relationships have changed.
  *   Help your baby grow a healthy brain through play and relationship.
  *   Address family routines and structures, including media use.


Age: 0-4 months old

We invite children and youth age 18 and younger to eat free lunch during the summer months. Employees serve meals at parks and community centers located throughout Lane County. Each Summer, FFLC serves thousands of lunches to children through this Program!
