Please join the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) and Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) in a virtual meeting about the Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) food benefits program for children. Oregon has applied to offer this new program in Summer 2024, pending approval from the USDA Food Nutrition Services and the Oregon State Legislature.

FREE! Community support group for trans/gender-diverse and questioning people hosted by TransPonder. This week is in person!

TransPonder is a transgender founded and led nonprofit based in Eugene, Oregon providing support, resources, and education for the trans/gender diverse community and their allies.

When: Every 2nd Saturday @ 11a – 12:30p (this week, March 9th)
Who: Trans/gender-diverse or questioning folks, ages 16+

Food for the Soul is a FREE program designed to help families achieve food security via access to FREE in-person and virtual cooking classes, financial and budgeting courses, nutrition and meal planning courses, and urban gardening classes. CHILDCARE WILL BE PROVIDED FOR FREE!

This website is intended to help those in our community seeking shelter either for themselves, or for someone else, know what shelters have beds available on a given night and what criteria there are for accessing those shelters.

Those accessing the site can filter through the shelters based on unique needs and be pointed in the direction of those shelters that best meet those needs. Additionally, by clicking on the bed icons located on the embedded map, site visitors can see information about the shelters including pictures, intake information, what they can expect when accessing and other important details.
