WHEN: Friday, July 25 from 6 to 8 p.m
WHERE: Amazon Pool, 2600 Hilyard St, Eugene

People with disabilities and their families are invited to join The Arc Lane County and City of Eugene Adaptive Rec and many other community partners for a fabulous pool party, complete with fun games, a cannon ball and limbo contest and other fun activities.

WHEN: Saturday, July 26th, 10am – 4pm

This event is for children 5yo and older who experience a disability, mental health concern or behavioral health concern. Siblings are welcome to attend as well and do not have to experience a disability but they must meet the age requirement.

Lunch, snacks and refreshment will be provided!

WHEN: August 21 - 24
WHERE: Camp Baker, near Dunes city, just south of Florence

The Friends & Family Camp<https://www.kindtree.org/camp> is designed around the needs of those living with autism. Parents and caregivers can bring their loved ones with autism or other intellectual disabilities and relax with them over the weekend, knowing that they are in a safe and nurturing environment. Guests who are independent can attend on their own. Those who are under 18 and those who need daily help must attend with family or caregivers.

Scheduled activities include arts and crafts, karaoke, piñata, campfires, late night movies, concerts, talent show, outdoor games, swimming and canoeing on Siltcoos Lake, and more.

Please see the attached flyer for the Youth Empowerment Program (YEP), which offers leadership training workshops designed to build essential skills and foster community empowerment. The program is youth-led and includes two dynamic tracks:

  *   Advocacy & Engagement – Youth will engage with decision-makers to advocate for equitable policies.
  *   Mentorship & Peer Support – Participants will be paired with mentors and supported by peers to strengthen leadership and community connection.
