Hello District 5 Community Partners, Self-Sufficiency, Oregon Eligibility Partnership, and Child Welfare Staff,

Tuesday Tidbits are short, specific info bites you can use and share to increase collective knowledge of Lane County's wide-ranging community resource landscape.
Below you will find Mental and Physical Health resources being offered in and for our local community.

Through a collaboration with Lane County Public Health, Lane Community Health Council, PacificSource, and Trillium, a Tobacco Treatment training is being offered to Lane County OHP Providers and Community Care Workers on May 5th and 6th, 9 am-4:30 pm.

[cid:image010.jpg at 01DB8D1F.7B80E8F0]Peers.net<http://peers.net/> is a mental health service designed specifically with and for teens and young adults (ages 13-30). On their HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, clients can get next day 1:1 confidential & non-judgmental support. They have certified peer supporters available every day 6am-10pm PST via chat, audio or video.
They serve teens and young adults across the acuity spectrum, from mild/moderate/preventative to SMI and higher risk, including youth with suicidal ideation. Their program is designed to connect any youth who is struggling with mental health or addiction challenges with someone who has been through similar experiences, and has since been trained to provide support.
