Rather than expecting young people to navigate complex systems, we meet them where they are. The team is made up of mental health and substance abuse counselors with extensive backgrounds in crisis de-escalation, low-barrier engagement, and community-based support. All services are grounded in evidence-based practices and guided by harm reduction principles, with an emphasis on safety, dignity, and voluntary participation. Youth aged 16 - 25 are eligible to receive services. Insurance is not required, though services may be billed for youth enrolled in the Oregon Health Plan (OHP). At present, mobile outreach services are available Wednesdays and Fridays, 11am - 4pm at the Hosea Youth Center, 834 Monroe St, Eugene.
