WHEN: Friday, March 27th, 4:30pm
WHERE: Eugene Public Library Downtown branch, Eugene

Free interactive theater event for kids 5 – 12. Kids, tweens and their grown-ups are invited to be part of the show with Narrow Shoes Productions. This storytelling group will perform readings, then lead an acting exercise inviting youth to step into the roles.

WHEN: Saturday, March 28th, 10am – 2pm
WHERE: The Arc Lane County, 4181 E St, Springfield

Parents can sign their children up for some social time, and their children will be cared for by The Arc's trained staff. Spots are limited to 30 children, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Children will enjoy games, crafts, body movement activities, and other fun activities throughout the day. Lunch, snacks, and refreshments will be provided.

WHEN: March 31st, meeting weekly on Tuesdays for 7 weeks, 12 – 2pm
WHERE: Center for Family Development, 1258 High St, Eugene

This group is for parents of 3–6-year-olds and focuses on:

  *   Managing challenging behaviors
  *   Using positive discipline strategies
  *   Using practice approaches to parenting
  *   Building positive relationships
  *   Implementing successful family routines
  *   Teaching self-regulation and emotion-regulation strategies to children

The Arc Lane County Expands JumpStart with New, Bilingual Toddler Classroom

Exciting news! The Arc Lane County is expanding its JumpStart children's program with the launch of a brand-new toddler classroom opening February 23.

The first four spots have already been filled, and four additional openings will be available in early April.
This bilingual (English/Spanish) classroom serves children ages 12 months through three years old, and Employment Related Day Care (ERDC) is accepted.
