[Currdir] Music Educator of the Year Nominations

The Oregon Symphony is accepting nominations for the 2008-2009 Patty Vemer Music Educator of the Year Award.  They need your help in identifying those outstanding individuals in your schools and community, whether it is a music specialist, classroom teacher or community member who contribute to our children's music education and are outstanding in their efforts to do so.  The recipient of this award will be recognized on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall during the Oregon Symphony's Classical Concert " Concertmaster Jun Iwasaki's Concerto Debut."  The award recipient will be presented with a prize of $1,000 to assist in their music education efforts.  All nominations are due by Friday, January 9, 2009 by 5 pm. The recipient and nominator(s) will be notified on January 14, 2009.
