2009 Superintendent's Summer Institute
"Setting the Stage for Student Success"

Now in its seventh year, this statewide conference has provided extensive professional development opportunities for middle school and high school teachers and administrators. This year, for the first time the Institute will have a K-12 focus. Session topics will include:

*       Proficiency-based Teaching and Learning
*       Assessment
*       Career and Technical Education
*       Literacy
*       Cultural Competency
*       Personalized Learning
*       Effective Instructional Strategies

As in previous years, a small grant is available to assist teams in off-setting the cost of their travel and accommodations.
