OAKS Online Science Achievement Standards for 2011-2012
In a move to ensure that OAKS Online Science addresses the increased rigors of the 2009 Science Content Standards, the Oregon State Board of Education voted Thursday October 20, 2011 (link to: http://www.ode.state.or.us/search/page/?=3450 to increase science achievement standards) to adopt new cut scores for 2011-2012.

In July the science achievement standards and achievement level descriptors were reviewed by an expert panel as part of a two-year process to align Oregon science achievement standards to the 2009 content standards. Recommendations were made to increase the level of science students are expected to know in elementary and middle school. The State Board adopted the panel's recommendations.
