[Datamart-News] User Question Regarding Excel ODC files

Currently, I am using the export/import options to transfer data from
excel to hyperion and vise versa.  
I found out that running a query via excel also gives you the ability
to pick your parameters, however, using excel to connect to the Datamart
as an external data source requires a privilege to perform such
operation.  
 
Please let me know who would provide us the access to do this ?  It'll
be interesting to explore this tool.

Good Morning,
A fellow Datamart user is trying to use Excel to connect to the
Datamart and is having some issues. If anyone has knowledge that they
can share on this topic please respond! Any information we get will be
shared with all.

*I was wondering if anyone out there had set up an .odc file (this is
the Excel equivalent to an .oce file) to connect in to the datamart that
included the nifty custom joins that comes with the .oce for Hyperion
queries?*
