[Datamart-News] Datamart/Hyperion training (Aug 31, 2011)

The new DAS east training lab is now available. That means we will start
to offer Datamart/Hyperion classes once again. 

 

Come and sign up for the 'Datamart & Hyperion: Back to Basics' training
course on August 31, 2011. Seating will not last long, so make sure to
sign up as soon as possible.  

 

There will be two separate sessions of the 'Back to Basics' class. They
last from 8am to noon and from 12:30 to 4:30pm at the DAS East Mt Hood
computer lab, located at the General Services Building (DAS EAST) at:
1225 Ferry St SE, Salem, OR 97301.

 

Objectives 

Learn the basics about:

*         The Datamart, Datamart table information, the Repository, and
how to set up an OCE

*         Hyperion - how to build and run queries, manipulate queries
and results

*         Hyperion tables, joins, filters, formatting, and sorting

 

This training course includes up-to-date information on the latest
Brio/Hyperion application called "Hyperion Interactive Reporting
Studio."

 

Prerequisites: 

*         The training manual for this class must be printed (Double
sided) prior to attending.

*         Attendees must have current Datamart Security access with a
valid password, prior to attending this course.
