[Datamart-News] Datamart/Hyperion training seats available

The Datamart team is continuing to offer free sponsored training classes
at the new DAS computer lab. We currently have scheduled classes for the
beginning level course in November and December. Please review the
details below. 

 

The 'Datamart & Hyperion: Back to Basics' training course is being
offered November 16 and December 14, 2011. Seating is on a limited
basis, so please make sure to sign up as soon as possible.  

 

Each training day above will offer two-4 hour sessions of the 'Back to
Basics' class. The first course lasts from 8am to noon and the second
from 12:30 to 4:30pm. It will be held in the DAS East Mt Hood computer
lab, located at the General Services Building at: 1225 Ferry St SE,
Salem, OR 97301.

 

Objectives 

Learn the basics about:

*         The Datamart, Datamart table information, the Repository, and
how to set up an OCE

*         Hyperion - how to build and run queries, manipulate queries
and results

*         Hyperion tables, joins, filters, formatting, and sorting

 

This training course includes up-to-date information on the latest
Brio/Hyperion application called "Hyperion Interactive Reporting
Studio."

 

Prerequisites: 

*         The training manual for this class must be printed (Double
sided) prior to attending.

*         Attendees must have current Datamart Security access with a
valid password, prior to attending this course. (Your Agency Security
Officer needs to submit a 'Datamart Standard View Access Form' for this
access to be approved.
