If you were unable to join me at the OSFA conference this year and view
the 'Derivable query' presentation, you are still in luck. We have
provided you an opportunity to download the 'Derivable Query Conversion
Notes', in pdf form, from our website. Derivable queries are a topic
discussed in the new intermediate Datamart training and a brief
introduction to this query building method was presented at OSFA this
year.

This pdf was a handout during the OSFA training. It describes how to
alter a current standard built query and turn it into a derived query.
The instructions allow a user to keep their original pivots, tables,
reports, and charts intact, while updating a query to run as a derived
query.
