[Datamart-News] Datamart Functionality Project (data joining)

Dear Datamart users,

The number one voted item on the 'Datamart FY 2013 Functionality projects' list is to 'Develop more efficient ways to connect payroll, accounting, and budget data (PICS and Orbits)'.

We would like to obtain some additional information from Datamart users, such as real life examples of what people would like to see occur when connecting this various data.

Please answer the few following questions, as well as provide any additional information, which may help present a good base of knowledge.


1.       What specific process can a user not do currently that they would like to do?


2.       What specific increased capabilities are you looking to establish?



3.       If you could connect any Datamart data, what systems would benefit your specific position the most?


4.       What Datamart fields do you currently use, which may help combine data in multiple financial systems? (ex. PCA, Agency Object, etc.)


Please be as detailed as possible to help us understand what you would like to see in the Datamart.
