Subject: [SFMS-News] Financial Archive Reminder

Hello Everyone,

This is a reminder that SFMS will run the Financial Archive programs immediately following tonight's Production batch cycle.  Plans are for SFMA to be unavailable for transaction processing on Saturday, May 4th and Monday, May 6th.  The system will be up but the IT file (530 screen) will be closed during the validation process.  This means you will be able to query on R*STARS and make profile changes but you will not be able to make any transaction entries or release any batches on the 530 screen.  We plan to complete the verification processes on Monday, and open up SFMA for transaction entry at the regular time on Tuesday, May 7th.  For more details on the Financial Archive, please reference the SFMS News originally sent on April 15th.

Our objective for this year's Financial Archive project is to archive financial data, up to and including June 31, 2009 (Period 13).  We will send communications on Monday letting you know our verification progress and confirming if we will run a batch cycle Monday night.  If we are able to open up the IT file some time on Monday, we will send the notice out on SFMS-News.
