[Datamart-News] NEW OSPS Datamart/Hyperion Training!!

The Datamart team has been busy as usual and we are happy to announce that we have a new training available for users. It is called "Datamart & Hyperion: Payroll". It is similar to the 'Back to Basics' class but dedicated and focused on the state payroll system.

Please review the information below for specifics on this new training opportunity.

Datamart & Hyperion: Payroll (8 CPE Hours) (*Beginning level course)

Next Scheduled Training: November 05, 2013 (Tuesday)

The training course is currently offered free of charge.
Please visit iLearnOregon to sign up for this training: https://ilearn.oregon.gov. Seating is limited and will not last long, so make sure to sign up as soon as possible. We will continue offering this training course in the future, on a periodic basis, so do not be discouraged if you miss this date.
The trainings will occur at the General Services Building in the DAS Computer Lab, located in the Mt Hood room at 1225 Ferry St SE, Salem, OR 97301. Please, be aware that Parking at DAS east is mainly metered with a four-hour limit.
Datamart & Hyperion: Payroll:
Objectives:
Learn the basics about:

*  The OSPS Datamart - a focused look into the payroll system within the Datamart.

*  Hyperion/Brio application - how to build and run queries, as well as, alter and analyze results.
* Using Hyperion tables, joins, filters, formatting, sorting, and appending data.
Prerequisites:

* The training manual for this class must be printed (Double sided) prior to attending. (http://oregon.gov/DAS/EGS/FBS/Pages/datamart.aspx#Datamart_Training)
* Attendees must have current Datamart OSPS Security access, prior to attending this course.
