RECRUITING ANALYSTS AT STATE OF OREGON, Office of Forecasting, Research and Analysis

ACTION REQUESTED:    Please forward this email to people with interest in data reporting and analytics.

Multiple positions are currently available within a Shared Service Unit of the Department of Human Services (DHS) and Oregon Health Authority (OHA.)  Very large operational and administrative data sets will be used to conduct interagency research to study the experiences of Oregonians with DHS/OHA services as well as other agencies such as Department of Education, Oregon Youth Authority, Housing and Community Services, Department of Employment, and others.    Four Research Analysts (statistical in nature) will create a new work team called Oregon Enterprise Data Analytics.  The Database and Reporting Analyst will join an existing team in the Integrated Client Services data warehouse unit.  The positions are based in Salem, Oregon.  Flex-time and telecommuting options are available after a trial period.  These positions are considered lead research analysts and will have a large degree of autonomy to complete projects together with collaborating teams from different state agencies.  This announcement represents a very exciting opportunity to make contributions to the field of evidence-based policy development in state government.
