Subject: [Datamart-News] New query tool update
Datamart users,
The Datamart team has been hard at work to implement a new business Intelligence query tool to replace Hyperion. We are officially going live with the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE or OB1) application on 8/01/2020. I want to make sure you are aware that you will work with your Agency Security Officers (ASO) to obtain access. The ASO's will be using the new OBIEE security process documented on both the Datamart<https://www.oregon.gov/das/Financial/AcctgSys/Pages/datamart.aspx> and SARS<https://www.oregon.gov/das/Financial/Acctng/Pages/Syst-security.aspx> System Security websites.
The rollout process will be slow as we plan to roll out only a few agencies and then add more on a monthly basis.
Here is the breakdown of agency rollout the Datamart team has approved. (Rollout order is final.)
1. Agy 107, 123, 440, & 629: Starting 8/01/20
2. Agy 100 - 291: Starting 9/01/20
3. Agy 292 - 471: Starting 10/01/20
4. Agy 472 - 999: Starting 11/01/20
This new tool is web based and contains a different type of log-in than Hyperion (no longer RACF). The log-in is a 'Shared AD' type of process. Each agency has a 'Shared AD' team that may need to be contacted, by your ASO, in order for a user to be set-up. Please find out who will be the Shared AD team contact for your agency.
We are requiring training for all new users once they obtain access. There will be training classes coming soon, so make sure your coworkers are set up to receive Datamart News emails. In addition, we are working on an interactive iLearn training, which should come out soon as well.
Thanks for your patience and understanding,
Aaron Wallace
