[Datamart-News] OB1 filter help

I had a few users ask about a specific filter feature in OBIEE. They wanted to know, 'how can I filter out blanks'. Here are the details on how to complete this task.

You first need to input a space on the 'value' line within the 'edit filter' pop-up window. Just click your 'spacebar' one time to create the space. It is difficult to tell that this has occurred; however, as you can see in the screen shot below, you are able to highlight the space to verify you did it correctly. Make sure to add the 'is not equal to/is not in' filter to remove all blanks. In addition, there is no need for additional spaces, just one is sufficient.
