OBIEE Repository users:

I am excited to announce that improvements have been made to the SEFA, DAFR 6610 and DAFR 6620 files over this past year (based on various feedback). If you are using any of the older linked ‘Repository’ files in your own directory, you should update them with the latest versions.

One of the best improvements we found is a way to use the ‘GL Summary’ subject area instead of the ‘GL Detail’ subject area for the DAFR 6620 files. This allows the files to run at a more optimal level and speed up the data extraction by a huge margin (Ex. DHS: previously over 30 minutes; now under 2 minutes).

Please continue to use both the OBIEE and Hyperion repository files over the next few months and let us know, as soon as possible, if you find any issues between the data reported.

I want to provide a big ‘thank you’ to Stacey Chase for all her hard work on this update.

Thanks,
Aaron Wallace
