Datamart Workday users,

I wanted to help clarify some information about the Workday 'Rpt Effective date' field. This field is very important as it will allow you to separate payroll run1 and 2 when building and filtering your queries. We no longer filter using 'Pay Period End' as it does not work the same as it did with OSPS.

The 'Rpt Effective Date' field comes from Workday and is the calendar date the Datamart extracts are created.

For example, if you review the Datamart Calendar (below) and see the January 2024 Workday loads will be available on 1/10/24 and 1/30/24. This means the 'Rpt Effective date' will be 1/09/24 and 1/29/24, respectively.

Hope this helps,
Aaron Wallace
