Please see the information below regarding the OPE reallocation process for July run 2 which will be run/loaded on Thursday 8/22/24, with transactions on the SFMA 530 screen and posting in the batch cycle 8/23/24.  The e-mail below also includes information regarding the implementation of the OPE reallocation process going forward starting with August run 1.

See below email sent out to finance contacts regarding Other Payroll Expense (OPE) Reallocation process.  Also attached is costing information for Workday.  If you have feedback, then please create a case.

Good afternoon,

This is an update to the Other Payroll Expense (OPE) Reallocation process. Department of Administrative Services Statewide Financial Management Services (SFMS) completed the Quality Assurance (QA) review and granted final approval to implement the OPE Reallocation integration with the Statewide Financial Management Application (SFMA).

The new OPE Reallocation process will go into production Aug. 22, 2024.
Listed below are the three new reports that will be generated for agencies to review with each payroll run:

  *   WDOPERPT01 - WORKDAY OPE REALLOCATION
  *   WDOPERPT02 - OPE NOT ZERO BALANCE
  *   WDOPERPT03 - OPE EXCEPTIONS
     *   The OPE EXCEPTIONS Report will need to be reviewed by Finance with assistance from Payroll to provide time sheet entries to help determine why the employee transactions were excluded. Additionally, DAS Workday will be reviewing the OPE EXCEPTIONS report
     *   Please create a Workday Help Case if you have questions about data on the OPE EXCEPTIONS report
Timing Considerations:

  *   The July Run 2 OPE Reallocation process will happen on Aug. 22, 2024
     *   July run 2 OPE transactions will post to SFMA on Aug. 23, 2024
  *   August Run 1 payroll processing happens on Aug. 26, 2024
     *   August Run 1 OPE Reallocation will run with the August Run 1 payroll processing and will load to SFMA on Aug. 27 and post to SFMA on Aug. 28, 2024
  *   July is an open month in SFMA until Sept. 6, 2024
  *   Posting forward agencies will need to have July Run 2 and August Run 1 reallocations posted prior to the running of August cost allocations within SFMA
