[Datamart-News] Important OBIEE reminder

OBIEE users,

I wanted to send a reminder of an important feature within OBIEE. You may have already completed this step; however, it is a good function to double check because it will save a lot of time.

There is an OBIEE setting change that should be completed by all users. This must be done individually, so please follow the instructions below.

The reason behind this setting change is due to the fact that OBIEE automatically runs a query as soon as you open an analysis file. We do not want it to do this because we need to have users' reviewing the file, especially the filters, prior to running it. Therefore, please follow the instructions below to update your OBIEE account.


Instructions:
Log into OBIEE.

Click on the drop-down icon next to your account name (right-hand side of screen).

Select: 'My Account'.

Within the 'Preferences' tab, change the 'Analysis Editor' setting to 'Full Editor: Start on Criteria tab when editing Analysis'.

Click 'ok' to complete.
