OBIEE went live in August 2020. We are continuing to complete our rollout process which allows identified agencies to start using the product. This rollout spans a four month period.

The OBIEE application has been set up with a new type of security access. Users are input on a ‘Shared Active Directory’ or ‘Shared AD’. A user must be included in the Shared AD, prior to obtaining security access
to the product. This access is a critical piece of the process to fully set up your Datamart users with OBIEE access.

The Datamart team asks that all ASO confirm with your IT department and determine what the status is of your agency and being included in the Shared AD. If your agency is currently not set up in the Shared
AD, then your IT department will need to work with Dewayne Weaver’s unit (DAS DCS) to obtain proper access.

The Datamart team has been hard at work to implement a new business Intelligence query tool to replace Hyperion. We are officially going live with the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE or OB1) application on 8/01/2020.
I want to make sure you are aware of the new security process. It is documented on both the
Datamart and
SARS System Security websites.

The rollout process will be slow as we plan to roll out only a few agencies and then add more on a monthly basis (Datamart news list email coming soon).
