This e-mail message provides the notice of the Department of Land Conservation and Development rulemaking that you have requested.

CAPTION: Designate areas and establish regulatory standards for marine renewable energy development within the territorial sea.


SUMMARY: The amendment will revise the Territorial Sea Plan Part Five by incorporating maps that designate areas where marine renewable energy development may be sited and the standards and review criteria that would be applied by state agencies for conducting their review of project proposals within those designated areas. The maps and standards will be incorporated into the existing Plan as an appendix.

ATTACHMENTS: Attached are copies of:

  *   The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking Hearing;
  *   The Statement of Need and Fiscal Impact;
  *   The Housing Impact Statement;
  *   The Proposed Rules (new language underlined in bold, deleted language in strikethrough).
