Strangulation Injury

Webinar presented by AEquitas Medical Advisor Jenifer Markowitz and
AEquitas Attorney Advisor Doug Miles

This webinar will discuss the signs and symptoms victims may display
following a strangulation event and common misconceptions about
strangulation injury.  The webinar will also discuss lethality issues
related to strangulation, including delayed fatalities from
strangulation events. The presenters will review appropriate assessment
techniques for strangulation victims, including assessment questions for
use by first responders, and identify reasons why this type of thorough
assessment might not be completed.
