Good Afternoon,

This morning I sent out the registration materials for this year's Boot Camp (Trial Advocacy training for Prosecutors).

I've had a couple of questions from attendees of last year's conference about whether this year's material will be "substantially similar" to last year's.

The short answer is NO. Nearly every session will be different from what we had last year. While there will be a focus on trial advocacy skills (Case Analysis, Jury Selection, Motions Practice, Opening Statement, Handling the Unwilling Witness/Victim, Crawford/Hearsay issues, etc.), those topics will be presented in a DIFFERENT way than last year.

Additionally, there will be brand new sessions on Community Collaboration Teams, DV Courts, Training Local Law Enforcement, Victims' Rights Topics, and Ethics in DV Cases.

So, attendees from last year and prosecutors who weren't ABLE to attend last year should consider registering for Boot Camp II.

Thanks!

Erin
