Russell Wilson is the quarterback of the Super Bowl Championship team, Seattle Seahawks. He was recently named a senior editor of Derek Jeter's new website, The Players Tribune. Russell wrote about Domestic Violence in his first editorial. His article also refers the reader to his own foundation's website (link below). Russell's "Why Not You" foundation was created to help bring awareness and fundraising to important causes. The website's focus now is on Domestic Violence. Russell and his foundation have recently created the "Pass the Peace" campaign.
According to Russell's editorial:
"When you Pass the Peace to a friend, I ask that you make a $2 donation or more to The National Domestic Violence Hotline<http://www.thehotline.org/get-involved/donate/>. It couldn't be easier. Simply text WNYPassThePeace to 41444 to make your contribution. For more information, please visit www.whynotyoufoundation.com<http://whynotyoufoundation.com/www.whynotyoufoundation.com>."
