Hello, Prosecutors and Dependency Attorneys!

It's that time, again: DOJ's DV Training at ODAA Summer Conference!

I'm excited to announce that the theme and focus of this year's training is: Domestic Violence and Children

The training sessions will include information on the following topics:

Deconstructing the Intersection of DV and Child Abuse and Neglect
Exploring the Effects on Children of Exposure to Domestic Violence
Improving our Ability to Engage with Victims of Domestic Violence and their Children
Understanding Child Protective Services Programs to Foster Systems Collaboration
Providing Information on Innovative Ideas:

*         Child Witness to DV Programs and DV Advocacy in Dependency cases


NOTE: Due to funding restrictions, this training is open to prosecutors (including tribal prosecutors), as well as dependency attorneys (DA and DOJ-based) who handle cases that involve issues of domestic violence and child/abuse neglect.
