[Domestic Violence issues]

Hello, All:

As you know, DOJ, through the DV Resource Prosecutor Program, has been able to provide free, high-quality, in-state, prosecutor-only DV trainings twice a year since 2010. We've been able to do that by applying for and receiving VAWA grants. Once again, I am applying for VAWA funds to be able to continue these trainings. I hope these trainings have been helpful to all of you-whether you attended as a prosecutor, or have benefitted indirectly because of the information and skills your DV prosecutors have gained through the course of the conferences. Just last year, over 25% of all prosecutors in Oregon received DV training through our program. In the last two years, 92% of all counties in Oregon have benefitted from the conferences.

In order to write the most competitive and persuasive grant application, I need your help. It would be tremendously useful if you would share with me:

**Specific examples of how the trainings have helped you do your job better; better serve victims; impacted the response to DV in your community and/or office

**What would it mean to you, your office, or community if these trainings were not available?

**What would you like to see in these trainings in the future?

I know that you are all extremely busy so thank you VERY much for taking the time to respond.
