Good afternoon,
Please see Sarah Sabri's question about U-Visa certification:
"Is anyone out there responsible for the U-Visa certifications for your office?
Are there any thoughts on whether the violation of a restraining order is sufficient to amount to "victim of criminal activity"? It seems that the non-crime status of VROs would suggest otherwise. What about using the possible criminal activity alleged in the RO petition as a basis for the victim status? Would love to hear what other counties are doing. Thanks!"
Thanks,
Erin
