[Domestic Violence issues]

On Monday, a man kidnapped a woman in Malheur Co., possibly stabbed her, and then fled as officers arrived. The suspect drove into oncoming traffic which resulted in a head-on collision with another vehicle. The  kidnapped woman, who was just identified as the suspect's ex-wife, was killed. It is unknown if she died as a result of the crash or from being stabbed. A person in the car hit by the suspect also died.

These two deaths are the 8th and 9th DV related deaths in Oregon this month.
