Recent court decisions have enabled prosecutors to more easily introduce expert testimony in domestic violence cases (around dynamics and trauma), however there is a shortage of witnesses who feel prepared and able to testify as to their expertise. This training aims to change that.

This training will primarily be geared toward police officers and advocates (both community and system-based) who have the requisite amount of professional and/or educational experience, as well as the willingness to act as expert witnesses in domestic violence and sexual abuse cases/trials around the state.

Space is limited to THIRTY attendees.
Applications are due by Monday, March 13th at 5:00pm.
