[Domestic Violence issues]

>From Jennifer Gardiner, Marion County DA's office:

"I've got a sex abuse defendant who I want to have tested for Herpes pursuant to a warrant.  The crime lab does not test for Herpes, the Public Health Department does not test for Herpes and the Salem Hospital will not test for herpes absent a doctor's order.  Has anyone done this in their county and if so how?  It is unknown if defendant has an active outbreak at this time so we will be relying on a blood test."
