[Domestic Violence issues]

Good Afternoon,

Oregon's multi-disciplinary, multi-jurisdictional Statewide Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team ("DVFRT"), authorized by statute in 2005, and formally organized in early 2011, has issued a Letter-Report on its work for 2016-2017.

The DVFRT strives to review 1-2 fatalities per year. The purpose of those reviews includes making recommendations to improve the statewide response to
and prevention of Domestic Violence and Domestic Violence fatalities.
