Boot Camp  IX is a 2.5 day trial advocacy course for prosecutors who handle DV cases (including tribal prosecutors). More specific topic issues will include: Gaining the Trust of the DV Victim; The Impact of Expungements; The Crossover of DV into Sex Trafficking; Forfeiture by Wrongdoing & Unavailability; The Effect of Grand Jury Recordation on DV Cases; Revenge Porn; Language Matters; and DV Caselaw & Statute Updates.

This course is limited to 30 prosecutors. Registration is FREE and lodging is covered for those whose office is more than 50 miles away from the conference site (20 travel scholarships available).

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Initial registration is limited to TWO ATTENDEES PER COUNTY. If your county wants to send more than two people, please do the following:

  *   The two prosecutors who have priority to attend should register per the webpage.
  *   Contact information (email address and phone number) for additional prosecutors from the same county who also wish to attend should be sent, in the order of priority of attendance, to Michelle.n.long at doj.state.or.us<mailto:Michelle.n.long at doj.state.or.us?subject=Boot%20Camp%20Waitlist>.

The names will be placed on a "wait list" in the order in which they are received. Once registration has closed (October 17th), we will fill any open spots from the names on the "wait list" and notify those people that they are able to attend.
