Please see information below about OCVLA's fall CLE program below. This CLE is open to attorneys, non-attorneys, advocates, etc. Anyone that is interested in better helping vulnerable victims.

This CLE offered by the Oregon Crime Victim's Law Center has THREE ACCESS TO JUSTICE CREDITS! AND it's taking place at KELL'S!!!) One of the three case studies includes a criminal case (that had a concurrent civil case with it). One other case study was originally a criminal case (ending in a conviction) that resulted in a civil case. All three case studies involve vulnerable victims. Though the focus of the presentations is on civil attorneys, the CLE would also be helpful for prosecutors to understand how these civil cases work and how they might be able to help victims by referring them to civil attorneys.
