[DV_listserv] DV Homicide: Attempted murder of wife and stepdaughter; murder of father-in-law (Jackson County)

Sept 20, 2019: Jackson County (Grants Pass)

Officers responded to a 911 call in which gunfire could be heard in the background.  David Edward Hodges (57) was found hiding under a tree across the highway from the house at which is reported to have shot, stabbed and killed his father-in-law Richard Rudolph (64).  His wife Kristie Hodges (40) had multiple gunshot wounds and his 16-yo step-daughter had blunt and sharp force trauma injuries.  Kristie was in stable condition and the child was in serious but stable condition. At arraignment David Hodges stated that he was guilty of all charges.
