WHEN: November 13-15, 2019



WHO: State and tribal prosecutors that handle domestic violence cases.  The first day of training is geared at prosecutors that are new or newly returning to DV prosecution.  The remainder of the training is for DV prosecutors with all levels of experience.  A variety of advanced topics will be presented.  These topics change each year.  CLE credit will be requested.



WHAT: DV Academy is a 2.5 day training that offers specialized training on current issues and hurdles in domestic violence prosecution with a focus on trial advocacy, evidentiary issues, trial practice techniques, and working with domestic violence victims. *This course is limited to 36 prosecutors.



WHERE: Criminal Justice Division of the Oregon Department of Justice - Salem, Oregon, 2250 McGilchrist St. SE, Salem, OR 97302



COST: Registration is free.  Lodging and per diem reimbursement scholarships are available for prosecutors traveling more than 50 miles.
