For all of you that have expressed an interest learning more about Forensic Experiential Trauma Interviewing (FETI), this is THE training series to attend. This two-part training is incredibly helpful for law enforcement, prosecutors, civil attorneys, advocates and anyone else working with victims who have been exposed to trauma. The basic course provides instruction on the science and practice basis for the FETI methodology and the FETI framework based on the neurobiology of trauma and high-stress and how that effects memory, communication and recall. The practical application course allows attendees to actually apply the FETI methodology in practical exercises.
I would highly recommend this training, and it is a huge benefit to have it available in-state. Please pass this training announcement along to your agency partners in your community.
* Training: Introduction to the Forensic Experiential Trauma Interview and Practical Application of the Forensic Experiential Trauma Interview.
* Date: February 24-25 and February 26-28, 2020
