Nationally recognized trainer and Director of Being Trauma Informed, Dr. Chris Wilson, Psy.D. is offering a 3-hour webinar (2 90 minute sessions over two days) on the integration of the dynamics of intimate terrorism/domestic violence and the neurobiology of trauma.  This advanced training will not cover the basics common to DV 101 classes and instead will look at the impact of control, threat, and abuse on the brain of the victim/survivor.  We will discuss the unique impact attachment can have on our brain’s ability to react to threat, how this complicates matters for victim/survivors, and what it means from a brain perspective to “control."
