[DV_listserv] Motion to Quash

[Domestic Violence issues]

Hello all,

Our office has a DV trial starting Monday and this afternoon the defense has subpoenaed the head of our Victim Services program, which I think is likely a fishing expedition to inquire as to whether the victim made inconsistent statements to her.  Our victim services program director talked with the victim the night of the incident around safety planning, going to the hospital, and that the defendant would be arraigned the next day.  We are contemplating a motion to quash, but are wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation and how you addressed it.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.  Thanks.
