Sexual Assault Prosecutor Academy
In this experiential 2.5 day training, participants will hear from expert partners in the field, including experienced prosecutors and victim advocates, about their roles in improving outcomes for victims of sexual assault in criminal cases, best practices for implementing trauma-informed skills in working with victims of assault, and how to coordinate with other systems partners during cases.  Join instructors Katie Green and Jayme Kimberly from the Department of Justice as they take you through what it takes to successfully prosecute a Sexual Assault case.

Date: October 2-4 (two full days 9-4, and one half day 9-1)

Location: Eugene

Registration Fee: Free! (open until Sept 27, or capacity is reached)

Lodging/ Transportation: SATF is also offering a limited number of travel scholarships that can help with lodging and transportation costs. If you scroll down to the bottom of the training page<https://oregonsatf.org/sa-prosecutor-academy> you will see a section that says "Apply for a Scholarship" and under that heading you will see a button that says "open form," and that will take you to the form for the scholarship. To apply for a scholarship, fill out both the registration form and the scholarship form.
