More-experienced prosecutors are always welcome to attend/ re-attend the fundamentals portion of the Academy. Insight from experienced prosecutors during these sessions is incredibly helpful to cross-training around the state. The remaining 1.5 days of the Training is for DV prosecutors with all levels of experience. A variety of advanced topics will be presented. These topics change each year but focus on current issues and hurdles in domestic violence prosecution with a focus on trial advocacy, evidentiary issues, trial practice techniques and working with DV victims.
