<p class="MsoNormal">On September 16, 2015, 92% of Oregon’s identified DV programs participated in the census.

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u>In ONE day in our state of just over 4 million people:<o:p></o:p></u></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">**Nearly 1,900 DV victims (children and adults) accessed safety through transitional housing or emergency shelters<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">**Oregon DV programs answered more than 27 hotline calls PER HOUR<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">**There were 473 UNMET requests for services. 74% of those requests were for housing. As we know, if victims can’t find safe housing, they are many times left with no option but to either return to the abusive situation or live on the streets,
in their cars, or other unsafe locations, often with their children. <o:p></o:p></p>
