<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Police responded to a residence after a family member of victim reported that she was being held against her will in the home. A hostage situation developed, and after 4 hours of negotiations, a flash bang
and chemical gas convinced Henry Martinez Jr (49) to exit the house. He threatened police with a knife and he was shot and killed by law enforcement. When officers entered the house they found Martinez’s girlfriend, Carlen Mercado (51), deceased. She is
believed to have been stabbed.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
