ELPA testing wait time

To minimize student exposure to ELPA items and the resulting impact on test validity, ODE has required students to wait 4 weeks before retesting following an ELPA test reset.

As the close of the ELPA testing window approaches, ODE has agreed to revise this policy in order to provide students the opportunity to test.

1) For ELPA tests begun by May 1, 2009, students must wait a minimum of two weeks before retesting.

2) Ode will not reset ELPA tests begun after May 1, 2009. This means that students will not be able to complete ELPA testing after May 1st if there is a test impropriety or irregularity with the testing administration.
