Subject: Update on OAKS Online Server Slowness
OAKS Online is continuing to have periodic slowness. ODE's test vendor, American Institutes for Research, is monitoring the system constantly and when the system slows, AIR will immediately switch to a different server so student testing can continue unhindered. If your students encounter problems, please notify your regional ESD Partner Help Desk immediately.
AIR re-opened the Participation Reports this morning (Tuesday, March 8, 2011). AIR has optimized the reports to improve performance.
The American Institutes for Research's staff are working to identify the source of these issues. ODE and AIR apologize that we have not yet been able to solve the issue yet.
Thank you for your patience.
