 *   FY 2008 and FY 2007 Funding Status.  Wave 23 for FY 2008 will be released on Tuesday, September 16th.  Wave 64 for FY 2007 will be released on Monday, September 15th.
 *   SLD Fall E-Rate Training: Part 1.  The SLD’s first 2008 one-and-a-half day applicant training session was held in Washington, DC, last week.  One clear conclusion from this session is that the standard for E-rate compliance has been increased significantly by the detailed nature of these attestation audits.


 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.
    *   NPRM comments due on Eligible Services List (9/18/2008)
    *   Non-recurring service delivery end date (9/30/2008)
    *   The online Form 471 for FY 2008 will become unavailable next weekend
    *   FCC releases new Notice of Inquiry for the Universal Service Fund
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief for September 12th.  Paralleling last week’s News Brief focusing on applicants, the SLD’s News Brief for September 12th provides a number of reminders for service providers to get ready for the FY 2009 application cycle.
