 *   FY 2009 and FY 2010 Funding Status.   FY 2009 Wave 31 will be released on Tuesday and will include Priority 2 funding at 80% and above.  The application window for FY 2010 opened last week and will close February 11, 2010.
 *   Eligible Services List for FY 2010…and Beyond.  The FCC released the final version of the ESL for FY 2010 and requested comments on a number of other services tentatively deemed ineligible.  The most important aspects of the 2010 ESL are: (a) a more flexible treatment of VoIP services; (b) an apparently tighter definition of eligible Web hosting services (include the possibility of making it completely ineligible in future years); and (c) a decision to make unbundled equipment warranties ineligible.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  Over 2,000 Form 486 Urgent Reminder letters were mailed last week. A large number of Invoice Deadline Extension Requests for FY 2008 recurring services should be approved shortly.
 *   Schools and Libraries News brief dated December 4th — Entity Numbers.  Last week’s News Brief is Part 1 of a series discussing billed and site entity numbers.  It includes information on finding, correcting, and obtaining such numbers.
